JSL Limited Launches Officals website of The Stainless Innovation Award
SIA (Stainless Innovation Award) once again invites young designers from all over the world to share their extraordinary talents and create new paradigm in design excellence. The prestigious awards has been instituted by JSL Limited to encourage use of steel as the material for the future. Competition is open for all design and architectural students, who are currently studying or completed education after December 2007. Applicants from across the geographies can register online with just few simple clicks. The online endeavor of JSL is aptly supported by Indiamart – one of the top B2B marketplaces in the world and largest in India.

Indiamart, the pioneer in Internet technology is now working to shape the vision of Mr. Ankur Aggrawal (Executive Officer of JSL Ltd.). He yearns to give Stainless Innovation Award a global appeal and shortlist talents with ability to translate good design to functional products. His efforts are directed towards encouraging young talents from different design and architectural school to explore unending possibilities in the fraternity. There are three categories for the awards, namely: innovation in application of stainless steel in Home Accessories; excellence in use of stainless steel in Furniture & Garden and creative ideas for application of stainless steel in Public Spaces. Winners in each category will be awarded US$ 2000 and 1^st runner up will get US$1000 along with unique SIA trophy. The award is a call for designers who have the passion to engage in a creative pursuit that can redefine the complexities of modern design with determination as firm as Steel.
